Don’t miss our upcoming Parent Café on Zoom: “Family is More Precious Than Gold”, which will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7pm!
Parent Cafes are a brand new parent education offering at our Family Resource Center, that we are SO excited to bring to you! Parent Cafes differ a bit from traditional parent ed, in that they are based on “The Three Pillars”, which are: Individual deep self-reflection; Peer-to-peer learning; & An understanding of the 5 “Protective Factors” that make families strong. In other words...Parent Cafes will be all about YOU and YOUR FAMILY! This is a time to make social connections, share your strengths, and reflect on what makes your family unique. This month’s theme, “Family is More Precious Than Gold” (a nod to St. Patrick’s Day), gives us the time and space to consider how lucky we are to be a member of a family. For those of you who have taken a Parenting Journey class with us (and LOVED it) I can almost guarantee you will enjoy yourself at a Parent Café!
