Julia Swett:  (Sound Design):  Julia is a freshman this year who says her favorite memories in theater are when they all go out together after a show.  They always have so much fun!  Julia says theater has been harder during covid, but that it has shown them all that even with obstacles, they can still produce wonderful shows.  Julia says theater has taught her teamwork, confidence and networking.  Theater makes her happy because of the people she gets to interact with.  She has made so many friends through theater.  Julia’s dream shows would be Tangled and Hamilton.  Outside of theater, Julia also enjoys playing the ukulele, reading and hanging out with her friends.  Throughout high school, Julia is planning to continue being a part of theater.

Leah Cote:  (Nigel) Leah is a sophomore at FHS who loves painting, drawing and digital art.  She intends to go into the science field or animation after high school.  Leah says that there are many skills that she has acquired from theater including speaking in front of a crowd, time management, memorization, teamwork and so much more.  It builds people skills and is just so much fun!  Leah says seeing her friends at every rehearsal is one of the highlights.  Thus far, Leah’s favorite theater memory is still Seussical.  She says it was just such a magical and nostalgic experience for her.  Leah’s dream shows include Hamilton, Hadestown and Dear Evan Hanson. “Thanks to my family”!

Kaia Roper:  (Little Kid):  Kaia is a freshman this year at FHS who says theater has helped her step out of her comfort zone and speak up a little bit more.  Kaia likes doing theater with her friends and seeing the final product of the show finished.  Communication and creativity are two skills that Kaia feels that theater teaches.  Outside of theater, Kaia also participates in cheerleading.  She plans to go into education after high school.
