Laryssa Humphrey: (Miss Honey): Laryssa is a junior who says that theater has taught her how to work with others and how to work as a community. Her favorite theater memory thus far is playing # 2 in The Wolves. Laryssa loves seeing a show come together and witnessing the entire process, as well as the feeling she gets just from going on a stage. She would tell anyone to just try it once and see how amazing it can feel. Laryssa's dream role is to play Eliza Doolitte in My Fair Lady. After high school, Laryssa would love to perform professionally in theater. “ I would like to thank my mom and grandmother and I would also like to thank my voice teacher Christine Chiasson”.
Olivia Mills: (Mrs. Wormwood): Olivia is a senior this year who first appeared on the Opera House stage her freshman year in Grease! That is also the one show she will never forget. Playing Rizzo was one of the greatest experiences she had and ever will have. The cast was amazing and she felt so welcomed since it was her first show with FHS players. Olivia says that she loves how much theatre makes you feel. It forces you to open up and emote in ways you never felt were possible. She also believes her social skills and confidence level has increased tremendously throughout her theatre career, especially in high school. Her dream shows include performing in Les Mis, Beauty and the Beast, Heathers, and Wicked. After high school, Olivia plans to go to the University of Michigan, to major in Theatre In Social Justice and hopefully move on to be on Broadway and then we’ll see from there! She always has a back up plan. She wants to be in social work after her theatre debut! “I’d like to thank my voice teacher Christine Chiasson for working endlessly with me to get me where I am and where I WANT to be. And a BIG thank you to my family and friends for always supporting me, especially my parents. I love you guys”.
Hunter LaFlamme: (Big Kid): Hunter is in 7th grade and says that theater has been a wonderful distraction to everything happening in the world right now. Hunter loves theater because it allows him to act and interact with people and has strengthened his communication skills. He also enjoys theater because of the friendships he makes and that it allows him to enter another world. Hunter also likes to spend his time playing Minecraft and watching You Tube. After school, he plans to become an electrician or a You Tuber! “I would like to dedicate this show to Mrs. Finley and thank her for keeping theater alive”.
