Victoria Valyou:  (Big Kid:  Victoria is a freshman at FHS!  Victoria says that theater has given her the chance to build her confidence up and have less stage fright and she loves being with her friends.  She says that others should do theater so they can experience the same things.  Her favorite memory of this production is Mr. Bedard ribbon dancing!  Victoria loves singing and as a freshman, is very focused right now on graduating from high school.  “To Everyone!”

Rachel Gauthier:  (Big Kid)  Rachel is a junior at FHS who loves cheerleading, fishing, hiking, boating, tubing and camping.  Rachel says that theater helps her to problem solve and communicate.  She said it also helps your confidence and is a place to meet a lot of new friends.  Rachel’s favorite show so far is Newsies.  After school, Rachel plans to continue in theater and work in the automotive industry.   "To my Mom Jake Lisa, Meme Papa, Yaya and Mark and my brother Brian who supports everything I do! I love you. A special thank you to my Babcie who is no longer with us for her love  and support.”

Madison Hoffman:  (Big Kid):  Madison is a senior this year who has been working with Franklin theater for four years.  Over the summer, in Disaster, she enjoyed the freedom of performance.  Matilda began and was interrupted two years ago when covid started and so getting back into it has been a process, but it’s coming  together.  Madison says that theater has helped her to be more comfortable around people and audiences because it gets her out of her comfort zone and sometimes makes her think on the spot.   Madison has been trained in dance for 14 years.  Her favorite show will always be Newsies because of the show itself, but also the people that were in it and the way they all connected and worked together.  Madison would love to perform in Waitress or Les Miserables.  After high school, Madison intends to pursue a medical career.  “To my parents for supporting me and coming to every show, my best friend Olivia for introducing theatre to me and Mrs. Finley for always being there for us and being the best director and more, to all of us”.

Jenny Wood: (Big Kid)  Jenny is a 7th grader who loves painting, sketching, dog training and photography.  Her plans in the future are to attend college and do something related to animals and animal training.  Jenny says she loves the energy you feel on stage as well as backstage.  She says it’s a great way to learn important life skills as well as having fun and making great friends.  Jenny feels that creativity and problem solving are two skills that have strengthened due to theater.  Jenny’s dream show is Beauty and the Beast. “Thank you to all the people who have supported me and for all the people behind the scenes and on stage for making my theater experience so amazing! A special thank you to Mrs. who puts up with the likes of me!”
