I am writing to you today to let you know that we are presenting the School District 2021/2022 budget this evening to the City Council at 6:00 at City Hall. I have posted the zoom link below if you are interested in following the meeting tonight through zoom.

I have also attached our presentation for your review.
I am pleased to share with you that we are adding 11 new positions to the budget for next year to improve our district and help respond to the pandemic. We are able to do this because of the federal funds we are receiving over the next 3 fiscal years.
At the elementary school we are adding an assistant principal, art teacher, and a special education teacher. At the middle school we are adding 2 classroom teachers, an industrial arts teacher, and a special education teacher. At the high school we are adding a computer teacher, Extended Learning Opportunities coordinator, and a paraprofessional. At the District level we are adding a Technology Integration Specialist.
I am excited by these additions and what it means for our students and our staff moving forward.
