Student Council
What do we stand for? The Student Council is a group dedicated to representing the interests of the student body through observation and polling in order to make possible events, structural changes, and special requests. The group aims to foster a sense of school pride and spirit to create a sense of belonging at Franklin High School.
How do you join? Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend the meetings. Additionally, each class should have at least one class officer present for student council meetings. If you are interested in joining, please reach out to Mrs. Chou.
What does the Student Council do? The Student Council works with other students and staff to plan and execute requests. For example, we plan and facilitate our time honored events of homecoming and winter carnival. We also coordinate school spirit weeks and time for dedicated interaction with staff. One of the other roles we fulfill is representing the student voice at school board meetings.
