We are delighted to announce that Franklin High School has been awarded a generous grant of $117,000 from 'The Pat Connaughton Foundation.' This significant contribution will be instrumental in our efforts to renovate and revitalize our beloved Gymnasium. We are deeply grateful to Pat and his foundation for their ongoing support in helping our communities enhance their sports facilities. This grant will make a significant difference in our community, and we were the only school in New England awarded this prestigious grant.
This project marks a significant milestone for our school. It's not just about enhancing the facilities that so many of our students, athletes, and community members utilize regularly. The Gym holds a special place in the heart of our school and alumni, a place where countless memories have been made and friendships forged.
The renovations and revitalization will allow us to host basketball and volleyball games here at Franklin High School. Moreover, we envision the renovated Gymnasium as a space for sports and a venue for more community events and gatherings. It will be a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together to create lasting memories and strengthen our sense of community.
To bring our vision of a renovated and revitalized Gymnasium to life, we are launching a crucial GoFundMe campaign. This campaign will allow our broader community to directly contribute to the renovation efforts and be an integral part of this transformative project. The funds raised will be used to complete the project, which includes installing bleachers, scoreboards, new baskets, and more.
We encourage all members of the Franklin community to join us in this exciting journey by supporting our GoFundMe campaign. No matter the size, every contribution will make a difference and bring us closer to achieving our goal.
THANK YOU!!!
