Good Afternoon Franklin Families, I am pleased to share that we have had no new Covid cases in the school district the past two days. A reminder that the middle school will be mask optional starting on Monday except for when students are riding on the school buses. This is still required by federal mandate. I am happy to see that our case counts continue to trend in the right direction. A reminder that the elementary school and high school are mask optional and the middle school will move to mask optional next Monday. Good Morning Franklin Families, I am pleased to share with you that our active Covid cases in the schools have dropped dramatically as currently we have 1 active case at the elementary school, 3 at the middle school and 2 at the high school. Therefore, I am notifying our families today that we are moving back to mask optional status on the following dates at the schools: elementary school 2/14/22, middle school 2/21/22, high school 2/14/22. Please remember that masks must still be worn on buses by federal mandate. We will continue to keep student desks 3 feet apart in the classrooms and continue our sanitizing mitigation strategies. We will take targeted approaches in the schools when we have cases like we were doing before we went to universal masking in the schools (classroom masking/wing masking if and when necessary). The notifications will continue so we can keep you fully informed about the status of Covid-19 in our schools. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Good Morning – There will be a 2 hour delay today for the Franklin School District. This means school arrival and start times will be 2 hours later than usual, and the bus arrival times will be two hours later than usual. Be Safe!
